Revolvers are a single division regardless of barrel length or capacity.
Revolvers will be allowed 3 reloads.
Optics divisions may use red dot or laser. Mounted flashlights are allowed.
All IDPA ESP type modifications are legal with provisions below:
No attached mag-wells unless factory installed or permanently attached.
All holsters must be inside the waistband OR outside the waistband if the body side of the holster lays flat against the shooter.
Reloads may be carried inside the waistband or inside a pocket only. Reloads may be secured in a pocket with a neomag, magnetic or similar holder or may be carried loose.
Concealment garment must be a tee shirt, sweatshirt, sweater, buttoned shirt, snapped or zip front shirt, or jacket that is fully snapped or zipped in the front. A true attempt at concealment is required.
Holster position is IDPA legal holster position or appendix if allowed. No cross draw or shoulder rigs allowed
IDPA type targets and scoring will be used.
Cover:
Cover must be sought and used on any stage where cover is available.
No fault lines for depicting cover. Actual cover using the "slicing the pie" method must be utilized. 5 second penalty per shot taken when not properly using cover.
Vertical cover. Entire lower body and half of torso hidden from target you are engaging .
Horizontal cover. Only collarbone and above may be exposed to target.
Low cover. All of lower body and half of torso must be hidden from the target you’re engaging.
Movement:
All surprise targets, ie targets hidden behind vision barriers, must be taken on the move.
If the shooter starts in the open, the shooter may engage while in the open, but the shooter must be moving to a position of cover while shooting.
Targets:
All targets will be covered in clothing of some type. Non threats will be exposed cardboard.
Penalties:
In real life a defensive shooting can be painful. J*il time, media scrutiny, civil penalties. Police officers and legally armed citizens are responsible for every bullet that exits the muzzle of their firearm. For this reason I am making penalties severe. Accuracy is key over speed.
Hits on Non Threat: 30 seconds. 1 penalty per target. Pass through will be considered a miss.
Failure to Neutralize: 15 seconds
A target is considered neutralized when it has two hits in any combination of available down zero, OR one shot in the down zero and two shots in the down one if all shots are in the torso, OR one shot in the head down zero and one shot anywhere else in the body, if two shots are required on target.
