High-quality water and ideal conditions for growing hops set the stage for Oregon’s vibrant beer industry. The earliest commercial breweries in the 1850s were small, but within a few decades, Oregon was one of the top producers in the nation.
With the evolution of craft beer, Oregon has forged its name deep into in the beer industry. Currently home to over 400 breweries, brewpubs, and taprooms, the beer world in Oregon generates roughly 50,000 jobs and nearly $9 billion annually in economic output.
That's a lot of beer. A lot of good beer. Let's drink it together.
To celebrate the fermented phenomenon of Oregon, Fermental will fill the tap lines with a hand selected list of west coast greatness. From a few familiar breweries to several lesser known creations, this event also showcases some of the pioneers in Oregonian beer.
Accompanied by a food truck in afternoon and the evening alongside live music to complete the night, this tap takeover is a day devoted to OREGON BEER, which is always something to celebrate.
