Join Orchestra Nova LA for An Emotional Odyssey, an evening of sweeping musical narratives that trace the full spectrum of the human spirit. The program opens with the fierce defiance of Ethel Smyth’s Overture to The Wreckers, the searching intensity of Emilie Mayer’s Faust-Ouverture, and the vibrant energy of Adrienne Albert’s Western Suite. The journey culminates in Tchaikovsky’s profoundly moving Symphony No. 6 “Pathétique," a work that shifts from soaring triumph to aching vulnerability in one of the most unforgettable conclusions in classical music.
