Chicago house producer Mike Dunn has been DJing and producing music for over twenty years. Mike was one of the first artists to incorporate live elements into his DJ sets, bringing two reel-to-reel tape machines and a drum machine to create tracks on the fly during parties. His innovative approach led to collaborations with house music pioneers such as Ron Hardy, Larry Heard, and Armando Gallop. More recently, tracks like "Phreaky MF" and "God Made Me Phunky," re-released on Defected Records, have introduced his music to new audiences. This resurgence has led to collaborations with the new generation of house and techno producers and labels. With over two decades in the industry, Mike Dunn continues to influence and shape the house music scene with his innovative style and dedication to the craft.
