For Truth & Reconciliation Day, I was thinking we could get the kids to wear an Orange Shirt and we could meet at Inter River Bike Park.If there is a parent in the group that could do a children’s version of a Land Acknowledgement, please reach out to me as I’d love for the kids to gather around and hear one.
This pump track is pretty awesome as it’s embedded in nature and I think would be an appropriate place to acknowledge the history of the land we live, learn, and play on.
If you have never been to a pump track, I encourage you to come try it out. It’s great for children as young as 2 on balance bikes and really for any age child or adult too! Just no training wheels! It’s a great place for kids to develop riding skills.
