Overview:
Please join the Seattle Indigenous community, ACO and the Inaugural Tribal Liaison to the Chancellor in our first-annual Orange Shirt Day of Remembrance. This day acknowledges the survivors [as well as] the history of Native Boarding Schools and Residential Schools, to bring awareness for education and healing.
There will be a round dance, guest speakers, food, song presentations and traditional medicines from our local Seattle Indigenous Community members.
