Sugarcane is a powerful documentary that sheds light on the experiences of Indigenous children and families impacted by residential schools, uncovering truths that continue to shape communities today. The film creates space for remembrance, reflection, and collective learning, reminding us that βEvery Child Matters.β
This event is an opportunity for our community to come together in honour of Orange Shirt Day, to witness truth, and to stand in solidarity with Survivors and their families. Following the screening, there will be space for reflection and conversation.
All are welcome. π§‘
