Join local artist Ashley Lacourciere on Saturday, September 20 in the Makerspace for a hands-on workshop in honour of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Create your own orange shirt pin with beaded detail and take time for reflection as we remember Residential School Survivors and the children who never came home.All materials are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. There are two timeslots available: 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This registered program is open to teens and adults ages 13 and up. A valid library card is required. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
