Held on the campus of Orange Coast College under the bright blue skies of Costa Mesa the Orange County Children's Book Festival is the best children’s book festival in the country!

This year's event is Sunday September 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Join the crowds of families and local communities that have returned to this beloved tradition since 2004 for book-lovers. 

Meet and get autographs from some of your favorite superstar authors and illustrators. Enjoy professional storytellers family-friendly entertainment and so much more. This year's Headliner is Gene Luen Yang author of the graphic novel “American Born Chinese'' which was adapted into a Disney+ show in May 2023. Special guests also include award winning authors Austin Highsmith Garces Cindy Kadohata and Jasmine Warga.
