About this Event
Aquatic Adventures! Join us as we explore the world of water between St. Johns and Orange Counties. We will spend ½ the time indoors doing water conservation-themed activities and ½ the time traveling to locations between St. Johns and Orange County exploring aquatic worlds in person. The fifth and final day will be a beach day with a cookout.
Transportation to all camp activities will be provided.
Campers will need to bring:
- drinking water
- lunch
- bug spray
- sunscreen
Snacks and the food for the cookout will be provided. Dress varies depending on the day’s activities and details will be given on the first day of camp.
For the first day of camp, campers should wear comfortable clothes to be indoors and outdoors; we will not be in the water the first day.
Aquatic Adventures is a joint day camp between St. Johns County 4-H and Orange County 4-H. The camp is limited to 10 youth per county.
Lunch: Please bring your lunch Monday-Thursday, lunch will be provided Friday.
Time: 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday, June 6-10
Location: Pick up and drop off at Orange County Extension Office
Ages: 11-13 as of September 1, 2021
The cost for all activities is included in the camp registration fee.
Price: $200
This Eventbrite is to reserve/pay for your child's spot in camp. This is not your registration. Once you reserve your spot, someone from our office will reach out with registration instructions. Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.
Cancellation policy: Classes are subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If class is cancelled you will receive a notification confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process.
