About this Event
Join us for an oral history workshop, led by our resident expert and SlackWater Center director, Jerry Gabriel, to learn how to record and preserve the stories within your own community!
Following this workshop, we will host a short film screening with Q&A highlighting the Folklife Apprenticeship Grant, led by a Maryland State Arts Council representative! Folklife Apprenticeship Grants, provided by MSAC, support traditional arts education by funding a mentor artist and apprentice artist to work together for one year.
Lunch and refreshments will be served.
