About the EVENT:
Join the Psychedelic Assembly for an evening of Oracular Interactions with The Ungoogleable Michaelangelo. The artist returns to The Athenaeum with tales to tell from recent travels, discoveries, adventures, and encounters, but also to celebrate his art exhibition one last time before the portal is sealed.
Show up early (5pm) for a live “daemonstration” of how a Divined Design comes into being, a participatory rorschach worship workshop that will show you how to make your own divinatory artworks.
At 6:30 we will screen the PA promo video, for which Michaelangelo wrote and narrated the VoiceOver, emulating Terence Mckenna’s voice.
At 7pm The Ungoogleable will tell some stories and show some slides. In the spirit of a cocreative evening, You are encouraged to bring a poem, if you’d like the Ungoogleable to read it aloud in a famous voice at the conclusion of his recital.
Afterwards, Michaelangelo will offer one-on-one tea leaf readings and archetypewriter poems on donation basis.

Originally from The Netherlands, The Ungoogleable Michaelangelo is a multi-dimensional artist and storyteller with a psychoactive personality. He is a “bardo bard”, equipped with a quickSilver tongue and mercurial mind, who utilizes pareidolia, wit, wordplay, and a 6th sense of humor to investigate where the limits of language meet the fringes of reality.
His work finds expression through visual art, written and spoken word, film, music, and performance. He is the host and creator of the podcast Self Portraits As Other People, and the author of The He & The She of It and Impatient Transformations. He is none of the things he says he is, and more.
