Back to the Fairway: OPVFD Revives Annual Golf TournamentOn Sunday, November 2, 2025, the Ocean Pines Volunteer Fire Department (OPVFD) will return to its roots with the revival of its Annual Golf Tournament at the Ocean Pines Golf Club. This tradition is making a comeback, offering a full day of competition, camaraderie, and community support.
The tournament will feature a competitive round of golf, contests, raffles, and opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors while raising funds to support OPVFD’s mission. Proceeds will help fund apparatus replacement, training equipment, and the construction of the department’s new South Station, designed to meet current NFPA safety standards and provide modern facilities for career and volunteer members.
Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to register and take part in an event that blends the enjoyment of a day on the course with a direct investment in public safety.
