OPUN MIC NIGHT is a gathering of curious minds to wordplay, improv, write, share creative work, and meet new people in a casual, 'low-stakes' environment.
This free community event is about having fun, not (necessarily) being funny!
Our theme for December is 'Reflections' ...
In 2024, SpaceX reached for the stars,
While weather went wild, leaving us with scars.
From hurricanes’ rage to heatwaves' blast,
Mother Nature sure made her presence last.
The election was heated, the race was tight,
But Taylor Swift’s Eras tour made everything right.
Tupperware couldn’t contain their financial woe,
Filing for bankruptcy—guess their future didn’t seal the show!
Puns, outfits, and work shared on theme are always encouraged and not required.
There are 3 Phases to the evening -- show up for one or all!
