About this Event
The Our Planet Our Future Book Club is going to meet in pubs in Harpenden on Thursday evenings five times a year, from 7.30-9.30pm. The group has chosen books which we are very much looking forward to reading and discussing at the upcoming meetings:

23 April 2026 - We Will Not Be Saved: A memoir of hope and resistance in the Amazon rainforest, Nemonte Nenquimo and Mitch Anderson
25 June 2026 - The Good Communicator, How to Make Sustainability Irresistible by Virginia Cinquemani

We will discuss the books and the ideas that the book inspires us.
We encourage members to obtain books from the library (or borrow box), charity shops, or second-hand bookshops.

This bookclub is a spin off from Our Planet Our Future, our landmark series of events, talks and workshops at the Plough & Harrow, free to join with a regularly changing programme of lively and informed discussion on the latest eco-issues.
