In 2022, he made waves in the literary world with the publication of his debut book, “Indigenous America,” a captivating exploration of the true history of the United States aimed at young readers. OPLIAM is a Mohawk descendant; his family originates from Kahnawake and were enrolled tribal members of the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (Akwesasne). He remains deeply rooted in his identity. OPLIAM continues to explore and share his cultural heritage through his music and writing.
