What would you do if a tricky emotion came for tea?

Ophelia's Shadow Theatre is a Puppetry Show & Workshop for children and families. Inspired by Michael Ende’s children’s book, it explores how we can deal with difficult emotions and befriend them.

Ophelia, an old lady, works as a prompter in a theatre. When it closes, she finds a lost shadow on the stage. Together, they have an amazing idea which will change their lives forever.

After the show, join us for a Shadow Theatre Workshop inspired by the play. The workshop allows children to get to know the actors, discover how shadow puppets work and make their own.

Ophelia's Shadow Theatre was created with looked-after children at its heart and it offers children and families an opportunity for igniting creativity and emotional resilience while have loads of fun together.
