Operational Cyber Security 4 Manufacturing Businesses
Tuesday 5th Sept at Aura Centre, Bridgehead Business Park, Hessle 8:30am to 12:30pm
Target Audience:
The event seeks to attract the following target audience within the manufacturing sector:
· Those business owners and/or senior staff who are seeking to review the potential to safeguard their business against the potential for cyber-attacks through their manufacturing equipment or operational tools.
· Enabling the business owners and/or senior staff to develop an action plan to identify potential weak / vulnerable points in the process and how they could be resolved – either via accredited channels or internal strategy / policy changes
· Those business owners and/or senior staff who considering external funding support to enable the business to invest in new systems, practices, and training to achieve great safeguards of their manufacturing process.
With a target of attracting an audience of 12 – 14 delegates based in Hull or East riding.

12:00 Potential funding support (Les Selby HEY Made Smarter)
The event would provide a combination of knowledge transfer / information exchange as well as opportunity to have a one-to-one session with specialist agencies. The session will open with an overview of the potential danger point and weak area with the manufacturing process and equipment.

This will be followed in the second session by activities aimed at exploring group and individual risk assessments and action planning – thus providing a practical element where bespoke action plans can be taken back to the office to be implemented.
Within this second session supported will be provided by Made Smarter staff to consider possible funding streams to sue to implement action plans – by applying for Made Smarter vouchers and intensive grants as well as possibly UK SPF (Hull & East Riding funds)
The event has limited places to ensure businesses can enjoy quality time with the support agencies. We ask that non-manufacturers business to contact us separately for support as we are only making space available for manufacturing businesses at this event.
