Story for the event...

The conflict between the Green Federation and the Tan Dominion escalated to a critical juncture at Shatterpeak Pass, a vital supply route traversing treacherous mountain terrain. Both factions understood the strategic significance of the pass, with control over it promising a decisive advantage in the broader war effort.
The Green Federation initiated a bold offensive, advancing despite the harsh conditions and the Tan Dominion’s heavily fortified defenses. The Dominion forces leveraged mines, barricades, and sniper positions to slow the Federation's progress, orchestrating ambushes at critical checkpoints to further impede the assault.
Following a series of intense skirmishes, the Green Federation secured Greenhold Outpost, a key stronghold within the pass. However, the Dominion had sabotaged the primary route, compelling the Federation to navigate a treacherous alternate path that extended deeper into hostile territory. The unforgiving terrain heightened their vulnerability to surprise attacks as they pushed forward.
On Razorcliff Ridge, high above the pass, Tan artillery units relentlessly disrupted Federation supply lines. To neutralize this threat, the Federation orchestrated a high-risk operation. Their forces divided into two groups: one to create a diversion and draw out defenders, and another to scale the cliffs and sabotage the artillery emplacements.
While the mission succeeded in disabling several artillery pieces, the full extent of the Dominion's artillery capabilities remained unclear. Compounding the uncertainty, stormy weather hampered communication, leaving the Federation unsure of whether their efforts had effectively neutralized the threat.
Once Greenhold Outpost was secured, the Tan Dominion launched a ferocious counterattack. Leveraging the mountainous terrain, Tan infantry and armoured units advanced with devastating precision. The Green defenders responded with determination, yet the arrival of Tan armoured reinforcements forced them to adapt rapidly. In a decisive maneuver, a Federation demolitions team successfully destroyed an armoured vehicle, temporarily halting the Dominion’s offensive. However, the Tan forces regrouped and prepared for another assault.
As night fell, the defenders braced for an anticipated onslaught at dawn. By morning, both sides had sustained heavy casualties, and Shatterpeak Pass remained bitterly contested. Although the Federation retained control of Greenhold Outpost, the Dominion showed no signs of retreating.
The battle for Shatterpeak Pass rages on, with neither side claiming a definitive victory. The pass remains a critical focal point in the broader conflict, its fate poised to shape the course of the war.
