Join us for a community-wide fire safety drill and practice your E.D.I.T.H. plan — Exit Drills In The Home.
🏃♀️ Here’s how to participate:
Identify two ways out of your home.
Choose a safe meeting place outside.
At 7:00 PM, gather at your meeting place and turn on your outside lights to show you're taking part.
👨🚒 Our firefighters will be driving through neighborhoods with lights and sirens, excited to see how many households are practicing fire safety!
🚨 Home Alarm Safety Tips:
✔️ Replace smoke alarms every 10 years
✔️ Replace carbon monoxide alarms every 5–7 years (check the manufacturer’s date)
✔️ Test alarms monthly
✔️ Change batteries twice a year
✔️ Replace any alarm with a missing or expired date
