First Baptist Church is asking you, our church family attendants and members, to fill your own shoeboxes. Here is the information about it:
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
It is time, once again, for Operation Christmas Child. If you are unfamiliar with this ministry, it is put on by Samaritan’s Purse to bring the joy of Christmas and the Gospel of Jesus to children around the world by sending shoebox gifts to different countries. First Baptist Church participates in this ministry by having our church family fill shoeboxes. Once you have your shoebox filled, it will need to be brought to the Worship Service by Sunday, November 17 for National Collection Week (Monday, November 18 – Monday, November 25). You can choose to give a gift to a boy or a girl in these three age categories: 2-4, 5-9, 10-14. Below, you will find a list of suggested gifts, and a list of things that are not allowed to be included in the shoebox.
