About this Event
Please join us for a fun day of giving back as we come together as volunteers to provide surgeries for our neighbors in need.
We plan on running three operating rooms in the specialties of general surgery and ophthalmology. The surgeons are Dr. Bautista and Dr. Alemu for General Surgery, and Dr. Wu for Ophthalmology.
The day begins at 7 am and the first procedures will start at 8 AM, and we hope to wrap things up by 12:30 PM or 1 PM at the latest.
Please arrive early to enjoy hot coffee, juice, and a grab-and-go breakfast. A catered sandwich lunch will be provided by Operation Access around 10:30 am.
Volunteers may RSVP for the surgery session through Eventbrite, or you may also reach out to the leads at Kaiser Fremont, Geraldine Gatewood, Alice, or Marie.
Kaiser Permanente Fremont Medical Center allows volunteers from other Kaiser Permanente Fremont and San Leandro sites.
If you are on-call on the day of the session, you may not participate.
Thank you for volunteering your time and expertise. See you soon!
