Operate returns to Paloma on June 7th for another night filled with raw UK-Garage vibes. This edition welcomes a special guest from Portugal: XICO — DJ, curator, and co-head of the XXIII label, whose selections reflect a studied understanding of club culture and sound system music.Rooted in the UK garage tradition, XICO’s sets extend into dubstep, hard house, jungle and beyond — always marked by a soulful undercurrent and thoughtful pacing. With appearances at institutions like Lux Frágil, Razzmatazz, and Perola Negra, and past work with platforms such as NTS, Rinse FM and Keep Hush, his presence behind the decks speaks to a rare kind of balance between breadth and intention.
He’ll be joined by Operate residents TMSN and Ben Mono, whose ongoing contributions have helped shape Operate into a night where genre explorations stay true to the dancefloor.
