We are excited to officially announce our return to Peninsula Park this summer! Mark your calendars for 6pm on July 27, 2025 when conductor Nicholas Fox will lead an extraordinary performance of Georges Bizet's iconic opera, Carmen!As always, the concert will feature a stellar cast, a union orchestra, and a full chorus. And true to our mission, it will once again be presented FREE to the public, making high-quality opera accessible to everyone in the metro area.
For 22 years, OPERA IN THE PARK Portland has been a beloved cultural institution in Portland, offering the community the rare opportunity to experience grand opera concerts without cost. Last summer, 5,000 people attended La Traviata in Peninsula Park—nearly double the capacity of Keller Auditorium!
