This short 1-hour world wind program represents over 300 years of opera history. The small but mighty Music (As) Theatre Ensemble have spent the semester exploring scenes assembled by all kinds of composers; from Henry Purcell to Kurt Weill. The vocalists will share their music with you by way of the music’s emotionally resonant plots, the unique hilarity of the characters, and the performance practices necessary to sing and stage these scenes.
