About this Event
Help reimagine what it means to bring your whole self to work, and join us for OpenLev Brooklyn’s first ever Soulful Community Co-Working pop-up at House of Yes on Monday, May 20th!
Set intentions for your workday and be held accountable by a supportive community. Ground yourself with optional meditation and somatic movement sessions. Break bread with new friends over a potluck lunch. Weave ancestral Jewish wisdom, ritual, and spiritual counseling into your day, guided by Rav Jericho Vincent (Temple of the Stranger).
This event is geared toward people who can work remotely or have a project to work on. We ask that you schedule your day accordingly to attend the opening intention setting at 9am and the community check-out at 4:30pm (all other offerings are fully optional). If you’re unable to attend the full day or the cost is prohibitive, please send a note to [email protected] and we’ll work to accommodate (NOTAFLOF: no one turned away for lack of funds).
We have a limited number of slots available for this session. If you aren’t able to make it this time, you can join our mailing list and we'll keep you posted on future soulful community co-working events!
OpenLev's values are derived from the overlap between ancient Jewish wisdom and the slightly more modern Burning Man Principles. By showing up at OpenLev, you are agreeing to respect the following values:
- Radical Inclusion (קהל קדוש - Kahal Kadosh): Welcoming all people as valuable parts of our community.
- Generosity (נדיבות - Nidivot): Giving without expecting anything in return.
- Participation (שיתוף - Shituf): Leaning into new relationships and activities.
- Personal Growth (עבודת הלב - Avodat HaLev): Commitment to our own work of the heart.
- Authenticity (אמת ואמונה - Emet V’Emunah): Vulnerable and truthful self-expression.
