Sheryll Cashin’s collages are made as an act of self-care, she surrounds Black women in nature and imagines them being healed as a form of resistance Photographer, Diane Dompka, says her joy is capturing the spirit and beauty of the subject and the emotional bond of preserving the image. Cheryl Elmo’s watercolors give the medium a new visual quality focusing on human connection.
