About this course

Opening up the Bible can be trickier than it looks – as many of us have discovered when we have sat down to study it in depth or prepare sermons or Bible studies or any other ministry using the Bible. This course helps us learn from reliable guides not only so we can understand what we read but also to help others to unpack the biblical texts for our faith, mission, and ministries.

We are striving to ensure our courses are as accessible as possible to those who are disabled, neurodivergent and have learning differences.

Course Format

Diverse Learning Modes: Explore through videos, audio, text and interactive activities.

6 weekly Online Group Tutorials (with preparation): Connect with fellow learners and delve deeper with support from your group tutor.

2 onsite study days: Gather together to wrestle with some key questions.

Who is this course for?

Anyone who is interested in:

Exploring how the bible fits together and how we can use and interpret it.
Grow through study and reflection with others online, discover new perspectives, ask questions.
Anyone seeking to deepen their discipleship and those exploring a call to various ministries.

Onsite Study Days: Saturday11 January 2025 and Saturday 22 March 2025 (Both Study days take place at Church House Oxford)

Online Tutorials: Wednesdays at 2pm, Wednesdays at 7.30pm or Thursdays at 7.30pm

Wednesdays: Jan 22, 29, Feb 5,12, 26 (Not 19) Mar 12 (not 5)

Thursdays: Jan 23, 30, Feb 6,13, 27 (not 20) Mar 13 (not 6)

When booking, you will be asked to indicate which time and day you would prefer for your tutorials, but to also provide a second choice of time and day if we are unable to accommodate your first choice.

Bookings for this course end on 16.12.24 at 6pm
