Join us for the launch of a suite of new exhibitions at Hervey Bay Regional Gallery.Brisbane-based artist Phoebe Paradise's 'ππΆπ³π£π΄ π΅π° π΅π©π¦ ππ’πΊ presents a surreal reimagining of South East Queensland suburbia filled with technicolour streetscapes and twisted architecture. In this sweaty, twilight world the iconography and aesthetic of subtropic Queensland is brought to life.
ππ°π³π¦π΄π΅ π΅π° ππͺπ£π³π¦: ππππ ππ’π³π₯πΈπ°π°π₯ πππ’π―π΅π’π΅πͺπ°π―π΄ features research from the University of Queensland with loans from the State Library of Queenslandβs exhibition Purpose Built, Architecture for a better tomorrow. The 'Forest to Fibre' project presents cutting edge research into sustainable timber processing and design alongside local stories, artworks and histories.β
The inaugural ππ¦π¨πͺπ°π―π’π ππ±π°π΅ππͺπ¨π©π΅ exhibition showcases artistic talent from across the Wide Bay Burnett region through painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and more.
