Det Jyske Kunstakademi og Kunsthal Aarhus inviterer dig til åbningen af årets afgangsudstilling, ”Afgang 25”, hvor syv kunstnere præsenterer deres afgangsværker i tre gallerier på Kunsthal Aarhus.

Udstillingen er en indsigt i fem års uddannelsesproces og i et afsluttende værk, som markerer skridtet ud i tilværelsen som professionelle kunstnere. De syv kunstnere er Agnes Olivia Schyberg, Amalie Götz, Andrea Glahn, Cecilie Julie Holst Christensen, Sebastian Møller Jørgensen, Tine Simonsen Antonius og William Valentin.
𝗢𝗺 ”𝗔𝗳𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟱”
Afgangsudstillingen viser kunstværker skabt af afgangsstuderende fra Det Jyske Kunstakademi. Udstillingen er blevet afholdt på Kunsthal Aarhus siden 2004, og den har blandt andet til formål at hylde de nye talenter på den danske samtidskunstscene.
På tværs af forskellige medier og konceptuelle tilgange præsenterer de afgangsstuderende værker, der undersøger og synliggør ofte oversete strukturer, som præger vores forhold til byrummet, arkitekturen, kroppen, personerne og genstande omkring os. Ved at udfolde grænserne mellem det private og det offentlige, det fiktive og det virkelige samt det åbenlyse og det subtile, inviterer den nye generation af billedkunstnere os til refleksion over de samfundsstrukturer, der former vores liv.
Gennem udstillingen fornemmes en ærlig registrering og undersøgelse af disse strukturer, systemer og dynamikker, der – direkte eller indirekte – påvirker vores verdenssyn 👁

The exhibition offers a glimpse into the five-year educational process, culminating in a final work that marks the transition into life as professional artists. 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 "𝗔𝗳𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝟮𝟱"
The graduation exhibition showcases works by the graduating students from Det Jyske Kunstakademi. Hosted at Kunsthal Aarhus since 2004, the exhibition celebrates emerging talents on the Danish contemporary art scene.
Through diverse media and conceptual approaches, the artists explore and reveal often-overlooked structures that shape our relationship with urban spaces, architecture, the body, people and objects around us. By pushing the boundaries between the private and public, the fictional and real, the obvious and subtle, this new generation of visual artists invites us to reflect on the societal structures that shape our lives.
The exhibition captures a sincere observation and investigation of these structures, systems, and dynamics that – directly or indirectly – shape our perception of the world 👁
