About this Event
Between Lines and Horizons brings together a selection of photographs captured between Europe and the Pacific North West.
"Through my (tele)photo lens, I’m always seeking to simplify what surrounds me : isolating a detail, a line or a silhouette to create more room for emptiness, silence and breath. Whether it’s a mountain bathed in light, a guiding line at the heart of the city, or the suspended motion of an athlete, each image becomes a way to slow down and look a little longer.
After growing up near Paris, I now call Vancouver home, and I shaped this series as a visual journey between here and elsewhere. Places shift and blend, but one constant remains: the pursuit of minimalism within landscapes natural, urban or athletic."
