Opening Night Concert “Organ vs. Piano: Who’s the King?”
Two titans of sound face off in a spectacular musical duel! Is the piano truly the “top of the hierarchy of instruments” as Franz Liszt proclaimed? Or does Mozart have the final word, declaring that “the organ is the king of instruments”?
This thrilling program brings the rivalry to life. Each instrument will showcase its own signature repertoire, attempt bold transcriptions of each other’s music, and finally unite in a rarely-heard-and-seen duet!
At the end of the night, you will decide: which instrument deserves the crown?
