Dylan Sarra is a Taribelang/Gooreng Gooreng artist from the Central Queensland region and currently lives in Meanjin, Brisbane. In 2022 he graduated with 2022 Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours) from the Queensland College of Art, Brisbane.
With a focus on exploring identity and place, Sarra uses a range of disciplines such as print, digital works and sculpture to make artwork that connects with people and starts conversations about Indigenous history.
The exhibition is showing from 29th October – 14th December 2024 at Mitchell Fine Art in Arthur St Fortitude Valley.
An exhibition opening event will be held on Friday 8th November from 6 – 8pm with Dylan in attendance.
The following weekend on Saturday 16th November from 2pm the Gallery will host an Artist Talk with Dylan discussing his ideas and concepts for the exhibition.
All events are free and no rsvp’s are required.
Mitchell Fine Art is located at 86 Arthur St in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The gallery is open 6 days a week and provides free onsite parking.
