Experience "Sensing Palestine" a multi-sensory art exhibit that shares the visceral reality of life in the West Bank of Palestine. Curated by artist and activist Dottie Lux this installation includes the work of 15 Bay Area artists that interpret her journal entries from three transformative months with the International Solidarity Movement. Through visual art soundscapes and interactive mediums the exhibit offers a deeply moving exploration of the Palestinian experience under occupation highlighting resilience cultural richness and the urgent need for justice. Some of the artists involved are Katie Bush Messy Beck Aima the Dreamer Nida Liftiwaya and Diego Gomez and many others.
Opening Reception: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Celebrate the exhibit’s debut with community libations snacks and a vibrant art sale featuring works by SF Artists for Palestine. All proceeds support families in Gaza and ongoing activism.
The reception will feature live music by The Shadow Band a collaborative ensemble blending oud guitar keys vocals bass and percussion. Originally formed to provide improvised grooves for fundraisers supporting organizations like the Arab Resource and Organizing Center the group includes:

- Naima Shalhoub (@naimashalhoub) – Keyboardist and vocalist
- Chris Trinidad (@christrinidadmusic) – Bass guitarist and synth bassist
