ABOUT THE ARTISTS: An acclaimed band originating from St. Mary's County, Maryland, Casual Groove Band brings a touch of class and style to Southern Maryland's music scene. Formed in the early 1990s as 4 friends and later changing its name to “Harmonie-n-Bleu,” the band consists of musicians who love to play and entertain others. Their music is a unique blend of Jazz, Neo Soul, R&B Top 40 and classic hits from the past and present. They perform cover songs from a variety of artists, ranging from Hall and Oates to Erykah Badu to Earth, Wind, and Fire with a jazzy sound. Members include Roy Johnson-Keyboards/Vocals/Manager, Keith Smith-Drummer/Vocals, Lakeshia Whipple/Lead Vocals, Nick Wallmark-Bass Guitar/Vocals, Dana Marshall/Vocals/Saxophone, William Powell/Saxophone, Neil Capones/Guitar, Michael Briscoe/Guitar and Jonah Orvello/Keyboards.
