Kicking off the Aboyne Cello Festival concert series in style, international musicians Rebecca Gilliver (Principal cello of the London Symphony Orchestra) and Sophia Rahman, will present a varied and inspiring programme of music including the magnificent Sonata for Piano and Cello by César Franck. Rebecca caused a hit when she played at the Phoenix Centre, Newton Dee (AB15 9DX) in 2019 and is looking forward to returning here – less than 20 minutes from the centre of Aberdeen and easy reach from other parts of Royal Deeside.
