We invite you to the opening of MOA’s new feature exhibition, Entangled Territories: Tibet Through Images.Enjoy free museum admission (starting at 6 pm) for the opening night of Entangled Territories: Tibet Through Images. The exhibition—developed in collaboration with the Lodoe Kunphel Tibetan Language School, BC, supported and operated by The Tibetan Cultural Society of British Columbia, and Tibetan Canadian artists Kunsang Kyirong and Lodoe Laura—presents Tibet, its cultures and communities in a different light. The exhibition uplifts the efforts of the Tibetan-Canadian community to maintain their culture and history in the face of challenges associated with migration and the loss of their homeland.
Members of the Tibetan Cultural Society of British Columbia and the artists will be in attendance for the opening celebrations. The program will include special remarks and a dance performance by students from the Lodoe Kunphel Tibetan Language School, BC.
Free museum admission | 6 pm onwards

No RSVP required.
Light refreshments will be served (6 pm onwards).
