Course Overview
The Open Water Diver Course is your gateway to the exciting world of scuba diving.
Our comprehensive program includes:
• Lifetime certification fees
• All classroom and pool training materials
• Confined water (pool) and open water training dives
• Use of scuba rental gear for confined water sessions
• College credit available
You only need to purchase your basic gear (mask, fins, snorkel, and boots), which you can get at a student discount from Scuba Adventure.

If you’re not ready to buy yet, you can rent our gear for your open water dives for only $45 for both days. Please note there is a $20 park entry fee per day at the Rolla dive site.

Saturday – Classroom & Pool (Jefferson City)
🕐 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. — Classroom at Scuba Adventure
🍽 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. — Dinner Break

Sunday – Review & Pool (Jefferson City)

Open Water Dives
After completing the classroom and pool sessions, you’ll participate in two days of open water dives to earn your certification.
Most dives are held at a beautiful quarry in Rolla, but you can also complete them at Mermet Springs, Pennyroyal, or on one of our amazing Scuba Adventure trips!

• Mask, fins, snorkel, and dive boots (available at Scuba Adventure at a discount)
• Your course book, notepad, and pen
• Drinks and snacks for class
• A smile and a sense of adventure!
You’ll start with a relaxed swim test (no timing required!) before learning how to use your gear and mastering core scuba skills in a fun, stress-free environment.
