65+ PDX artists at NWMAW are opening studios & selling to the public for this fantastic, 2 day, FREE EVENT. Enjoy local art, food and drink!Artists at NW Marine Art Works (NWMAW) are opening their studios on Saturday & Sunday, June 1st + 2md (10am - 4pm), giving you the opportunity to visit where some of Portland’s best art is created, and shop directly from talented makers. Artists from North Coast Seed Building, Carton Service Building and River St Studios will be showing & selling their work as well.
With more than 60 artists participating, art lovers will find paintings, prints, fine art, ceramics, photography, sculpture, mixed media, glass, jewelry, apparel and more.
Visitors can support local artists, listen to live music and enjoy local food and drink while interacting with artists in their creative work spaces.
This quintessential Portland experience highlights the vibrancy of Portland's art scene and has become an annual event adored by both locals and out-of-towners.
BONUS: NWMAW is excited to host our second annual SMALL ART / BIG GIVE fundraising event at June’s Open Studio. 50+ artists will create 6” x 6” original works to raise money for one of Portland’s exceptional nonprofits. 100% of the small art sales will benefit the Artist Mentorship Program (AMP), a Portland-based non-profit that provides a creative space for homeless youth to build healthy, relationship-centered communities through music and art activities. Doors open at 10 a.m.
