April is in the process of building a body of work rooted in paper and nature. Recently, she was gifted scraps of paper—byproducts of the eco-printing process—that might otherwise have been discarded. These papers carry subtle impressions, delicate “whispers” of the leaves and plants that once touched their surface. Her plan to create new works that honor and transform these fragments, weaving the traces of nature into expressive pieces that speak to renewal, memory, and connection.
