About this Event
April 21-28 is International Dark Sky Week, when people around the world take time to appreciate the night sky! Parks and Open Space areas play a vital role in preserving pools of darkness in our urban landscape. Join the Open Space Stargazers for a nighttime hike of Aquarius Open Space and an easy science project. Stay for some casual stargazing, with great views expected for Jupiter and some of our favorite winter constellations. Bring binoculars or a telescope, and a red astronomy flashlight, and warm layers.
Appropriate for ages 10+
Please do not bring dogs to this event.
