Open Climbs are an opportunity to drop in and try out tree climbing. The rope systems will be set up in the trees and a facilitator will walk you through safely ascending into the canopy. We guide a maximum of three climbers at a time, so we also include take-home field journals and access to our “tree library” for exploration as participants rotate through.No experience required!
People ages 5+ are welcome to climb; minors must be accompanied by an adult. Climbing saddles fit waist sizes 20"-45"
Drop in or save your spot
We guide 3 climbers at a time and generally max. at 12 climbs in a 3-hour window. This means that you might show up and need to wait for the next open climbing saddle. You can drop in anytime between 12-3pm, put your name in the rotation, and hang out at the park if there is a wait, or you can “save a spot” in the rotation by signing up ahead of time. Open Climbs are pay what you can. We invite you to pay within your means and otherwise trust you to decide what a climb feels “worth” to you. We suggest $20 if you’re looking for a number. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
