THE best spot in Western Branch for Open Mic! Come on out to Woody’s - Western Branch every Sunday from 8:00 - 11:00 pm! we’ve got food and drink specials going on all night… the best staff around… and a warm and receptive room for our Open Mic’ers. Sign ups begin at 7:30 pm onsite each week. Just scan the QR code above the dance floor, and on the page the pops up hit the “Text” button. Send your stage name…. And BOOM… you’re on the list. Typically, acts get a minimum of 20 minutes to perform. You can use all of that time… or as much as you can fill. There will be a timer directly in front of the stage to let you know how much time you have left. Based upon sign ups, performers may be given extra time or allowed a second performance slot. All artists provide their own instruments. If you require an amplifier, you must provide your own or simply run directly into the sound system. Neither the venue nor the host provide drums, instruments, or amplifiers. A full QSC sound system with Mains, a subwoofer, and monitors will be provided along with vocal mics and instrument cables. Various mics, such as an SM57, a Sennheiser e609, and an Audix D6 Kick Drum Mic are available. If your set up requires additional set up, micing needs, or cabling requirements… please contact the host via messenger by 6:00 pm each Sunday to make sure appropriate equipment is brought to the Open Mic.
