Get ready for an unforgettable afternoon filled with talent, laughter, and good vibes — all brewed fresh at Smiley Brewing!
Join us and be ready to have some fun, this is your time to step into the spotlight!
Your hosts for the day are David and Renee, ready to keep the energy high and the good times flowing. Expect plenty of cheers, encouragement, and maybe even a few surprises as they guide us through a showcase of local talent.
We’ve got two awesome categories:
- Juniors (Under 18) – Future stars, this is your moment! Sing, tell jokes, read poetry, or play your favorite instrument.
- Adults – From soulful singers to hilarious storytellers, we want to see what you’ve got!
Whether you're performing or just here to enjoy the show, there’s something for everyone. Sip on your favorite craft brew, grab a bite, and celebrate creativity in its rawest form.
So bring your friends, bring your family, and bring the noise — because Open Mic at Smiley Brewing is more than an event… it’s tradition in the making! (just be sure to book a table for your friends and family!)

General Information
- Venue Opening: The venue opens at 12pm.
- Start times: Juniors from 1.15pm, Adults from 2.00pm (please note specific performance times are not provided, please arrives by the above start times)
- Juniors: 1-2 songs
- Adults: Max of 15 minutes per performer including setup
- Duo/Trio: if performing in a duo or trio you only require one (1) ticket (in the instance of junior and senior combination, please select an adult ticket).
- Instruments: while instruments are preferred we can cater for backing tracks from your device - lightning connector, USB-C or 1/8" plug.
- PA Systems: we will provide 2x micropones and 2x 1/4" inputs for instruments and set your sound. No other P.A systems permitted.
- Friends & Family - please invite your friends and family, make sure they book a table with the venue via the online booking system https://www.smileybrewing.com.au/bookings. Bookings are encouraged due to limited seating walkin's can't always be accomodated.
- Food & Drink - no outside food or drink is permited in the venue. Drinks are available for purchase at the bar and a food truck is in attendance for food - check the venue's website for details.
