This event invites poets of all styles and backgrounds to share their original work on themes inspired by the humanities. The night will explore powerful topics such as Ancestry & Identity, Language, Voice & Resistance, First & Second Homes, Family & Community, Music & Performance, and Labor—drawing inspiration from the Latino Poetry, The Library of America Anthology.
Whether you're an experienced poet or a newcomer, this is an opportunity to express your voice and connect with your community through the art of poetry."I also had a question about the hybrid portion of the event. Did you want to live stream the event, or would you prefer to pre-record the event? Our other poetry nights have been pre-recorded. We can do either option, I would just need to know what your preference would be to plan accordingly.
