About this Event
Calling all poets! Come and join us in the warm and friendly atmosphere of Seaford's Wellington pub for a brilliant Open Mic session! From beginners to bards, all are welcome, whether to perform or read your own poetry or simply to relax in a wonderful web of words. Our guest poet this time is the brilliant Peter Kenny.
Peter Kenny lives in Seaford and co-hosts the Planet Poetry podcast with Robin Houghton. His poetry includes Snow (Hedgehog Poetry Press, 2024) in collaboration with local artist Palo Almond, Mariscat Sampler One (Mariscat Press, 2024), Sin Cycle (e.ratio, New York, 2020), The Nightwork (Telltale Press, 2014), and A Guernsey Double (Guernsey Arts Commission, 2010). His horror stories appear in Supernatural Tales and various UK and US magazines.
He has written six comedy plays, including A Glass of Nothing, performed in London, Brighton, and Edinburgh. His collaborations with classical composer Dr. Matthew Pollard include This Concert Will Fall in Love with You (2010), available on Spotify.
