Jean Flanagan is author of two books of poetry: Ibbeston Street (Garden Street Press) and Black Lightning (Cedar Hill Books). Her forthcoming book The Language of Two will be published by Finishing Line Press in September 2026. Flanagan is a volunteer corrdinator for “CHanging Lives Through Literature” an alternatice sentencing program in Massachusetts. She is one of the founds of the Arlington Center for the Arts and the current Poet Laureate of Arlington, Massachusetts.
