Open Mic will be 6 spots, followed by a 6 spot open slam. Anyone can join for the open mic (music, poetry, dance, comedy, you name it, we welcome it).Open Slam is for poetry only: must be original work, no props or music, and poets must have a minimum of two poems to compete in the slam. Cash prizes are first place $60, second place $40, third place $20. Voting done by random judges in the crowd. Always a good time!
SIGN UP IS AT 6:30PM SHARP WHEN OUR DOORS OPEN. TYPICALLY, WE HAVE A LINE BEGIN OUTSIDE THE VENUE BY 6PM FOR THOSE WANTING TO GET ON THE SIGN UP SHEET. DON'T BE LATE OR YOU WON'T GET ON STAGE!
Admission is $6-$10 sliding scale (this means you choose what works for your budget, no shame in paying what you got). Members get $5 entry into our Open Mic/Open Slam events. Membership is $10 annually, and available at the door or through our website. No one is turned away at the door for lack of funds. Just let us know!

Bathrooms are single stall, non-gendered, with one that is wheelchair accessible.
