Come join us for an evening highlighting Glasgow-based artists from the SWANA region, as well as musicians playing music from across the SWANA world.
We’re so excited to host our first Open Mic Night in Glasgow, an event that has been hugely successful for us in London. The night will begin with 3–5 pre-selected acts who have already signed up, after which the stage will open to anyone who feels inspired to perform.
There are no genre limits, from pop to tarab, so long as the music falls within the SWANA scope. We want to hear all the incredible talent Glasgow has to offer and, hopefully, kick off a growing series of Marsm events in the city.

All SWANA music & languages are welcome; whether Arabic, Farsi, Kurdish, Amazigh, or Assyrian. We’d love to hear it!
