Welcome back for another year of Open Mic Night at Dobbs on South. Hosted by Katie Feeney (of You Do You / Roberta Faceplant).Signups begin at 8:00pm weekly and our list fills up fast so we recommend you arrive early. Each act will have approx 2-3 songs (10-15 minutes) depending on the turnout of the night. We want to have as many Musicians, Comedians, Poets, Spoken Word and Performance Art talents hit the stage as possible each week.
We will provide mics and mic stands, DI boxes, an aux cord (for people performing to a backing track) & a small guitar and bass combo amp for attendees. You may bring a small guitar combo amp or auxiliary percussion (Djembe, Cajon, Conga etc). We hope to have house keys soon but at the moment do not.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not an open jam / full band open mic - The only Full Band Slot (Meaning use of the Dobbs Drum Kit, Bass Stack or Guitar Half Stack) is reserved for the Featured Act and can be Full Electric, Stripped Down or a Hybrid.
